We joined forces with telecommunications giant BT last month to showcase the latest innovations in cloud contact centre technologies, despite tube strikes across London threatening to prevent the event from happening at all. Although figures were lower than expected, the event was a huge success, with personnel from such well-respected companies as Ofcom, BT and UKCCF making the journey across London to attend.

The event, entitled ‘Cloud Innovation for Contact Centres’ took place in the high-tech Media Suite at BT’s Global HQ in central London. Speakers on the day included our very own MD Dave Fricker, Nicola Millard, a Customer Insights and Futurology specialist at BT, Terry Sansom, General Manager at IPscape UK and Bill Tolmie, MD of Redwood Calling. Bill is an existing customer of ours and he had nothing but praise for us during his talk, so we thank him for that.

With approximately 30% of contact centre based businesses considering investing in cloud technology, the seminar asked attendees whether a move to cloud makes sense for their business, while highlighting the benefits of Daviker’s Cloud Contact Centre Solution.

The event was brought to a close with drinks, canapés and a networking session, from which two fantastic new opportunities have arisen for us, of which we will be sharing more information in the near future.

For those that were planning to attend the event but whose plans were scuppered by the July’s tube strikes, Daviker and BT will join forces once again to repeat the event on 14 October 2015. Again, the event will be free of charge and will take place at BT’s Media Suite and of course, once the talks have finished there will be another opportunity for drinks, canapés and networking with leading figures in the contact centre and telecommunications industries.
