Merry Christmas from Daviker

/ Uncategorized

It’s been a busy year at Daviker, with major new supply sectors to provide with our speech analytics and voice analysis software, and many more customers’ call centre operations streamlined with the addition of our TouchStar predictive dialler.

Long-term customers may remember in the latter half of 2017 we were granted approval to supply to the public sector under the G-Cloud 9 framework.

The framework is an initiative by the Crown Commercial Service to improve the quality of services delivered by public sector bodies and especially government departments, and to ensure the government gets the best value from its commercial relationships.

We at Daviker were thrilled to be included into this framework, allowing us to supply speech analytics and voice analysis software, workforce management tools and predictive diallers to public sector contact centres and hopefully improving the experience for members of the public who rely on them, too.

In March, of course, the UK government filed an Article 50 notice with the European Union, formally starting the process of exiting the EU, and all eyes will be on Brussels on March 29th 2019 when the Brexit process proper will theoretically reach its conclusion.

One significant issue that was raised in 2017 – and which will continue into the new year – is the question of the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR, which is due to come into force in EU member states on May 25th 2018.

Daviker will be here throughout 2018 to support clients who need help adapting to the GDPR – just give us a call if you want to know more about how our call centre software can help you to prepare.

But before all of that there is the holiday season and it’s a time to celebrate the end of a very successful year and, we hope, the start of another 12 months of prosperity for all of our customers and for ourselves!

We hope you all enjoy the holidays and that 2017 has been kind to you, and we look forward to hearing from you as 2018 gets underway and, perhaps, some contact centre managers get a new budget to play with for the new calendar year.

Until then, have a very Merry Christmas with lots of fun with friends and family, and a peaceful and prosperous New Year!
